While visiting Chicago on our forty-eight foot powerboat, Reflection, my wife, Pat, and I were unable to get dockage at any of the major marinas and found ourselves tying-up at a seawall in Monroe Harbor at Grant Park. The harbormaster who assigned us the spot, explained that although the area was not secure, the Chicago police patrolled along here during the night.
