Does anyone have a good formula to work to for optimizing content pages such as:
How many keyphrases is it best to target on a page? (is it best to target just one, three or something else per page)
How many times should each keyphrase be put in the page?
(if your targetting one keyphrase you can have this in the URL and the H1 heading easily but how many times in the body, if theres more than one keyphrase being targetted then you may not be able to have more than one in the url and heading, any tips to get around that?)
Any other tips?

I would recommend targeting one keyword per page. Using the keyword as the title is mandatory. The keyword in the H1 and URL is helpful. Then use the keyword normally within the content of the page itself. You don't need to have an artificial density, etc.

Do not write page titles that are longer than 67 characters including spaces. For the best effect, choose 1 or 2 strong keyword phrases and target for 2% ratio for keyword to content of the page. You should write a page of information content and logically structured with sub-headings and links.

The more keyword phrases you are targeting will be more difficult optimization per page on the site. Because it is not perfect in the investment side of keywords in all the relevant factors. So you must decide what is primary and what is the keyword for the secondary site. However, for the inside pages, one keyword per page is allowed.

A webmaster will wonder why his site receives very little targeted traffic on the subject. In searching for appropriate keywords, you can know exactly what your target audience is typing and research. Choosing the right keywords is crucial because it will be used throughout the optimization process.

The more you want to reach key phrases for each page will be difficult to optimize on-site. Because you can not do a full-page placement of the keywords all the essentials. Then, you must decide what is primary and secondary keywords in the homepage. But the inside pages, each page a keyword is ok.

Hi,
Optimizing content page is very important for any site. That needs a good rank in search engine. For that we should aware about following things. There must be unique title tags for every page on our site. We can write titles using this syntax: keyword phrase, category/page topic, website title (or brand) this will help to increase the efficiency. The title that we are using should be between 5 and 65 characters in length. One important thing is that put the primary keywords near the beginning of the title. In this way we can have good optimized page content.

It is a must to improve your SERP and helpful in many ways. It is must to optimize your JS and CSS files to load faster. If you really want to develop a scalable solution use Web Service instead of Update Panel. But if you want to stick to Update Panel based solution.

Maintaining a high ratio of the text that is always a priority. Search engines are different people. They want a simple index of pages and pages with a lot of fancy coding, such as Ajax, Flash, etc.
